I’ve been SO busy lately that I just haven’t had time to post so I thought I’d give some quick updates on a few things.
New fish tank
We set up the 30 gallon fish tank that I talked about in my previous post. It has various neons & other smaller fish in it. Below is a picture:
New cell phone
My boyfriend needed a new cell phone so we searched out ebay & snagged an awesome deal on this phone. It looks brand new! It’s a Motorola SLVR L7c. I guess that Motorola no longer makes these phones so it took us over a month to find one at the right price. Below are some pictures:
Other stuff
It’s been so hectic at work w/ 2 people gone right now. I’ve been working by myself all week long waiting tables & that gets REALLY hard at times. The money is freaking awesome but I get so worn out afterwards. Hopefully next week I’ll have some help.
I went out this past Saturday with my boyfriend & neighbor. That was so much fun. My neighbor did my hair in 5 minutes & it looked so awesome that I had to take a picture:
It’s kind of hard to tell but the back is pulled up with bobby pins to show off my curls. :) I just had fun getting dressed up. It’s been so long…
Anyways, that’s all for now. I have to get some sleep. I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow.

We bought a 55 gallon tank yesterday. Below are some pictures:
The picture above is our algae eater. We bought the tank from a friend’s father. The algae eater and coral came with the tank.
Today we went to our local pet store to buy some sharks for the tank. We bought 2 pictus cats, 2 balas, & 2 bull sharks. They are very pretty fish.
In our 10 gallon tank we have some regular neons & some black neons. We eventually want to move the neons to a 30 gallon tank. We’re buying that tank from a friend’s father in a couple weeks & we can’t wait! I’ll keep you posted!

Today I got a new computer from my co-worker. I’m so excited to finally have a computer that doesn’t have any viruses and actually works! My old computer was 8 years old so it was time for an upgrade. She also gave me a printer so that makes me happy, too. My boyfriend is on the new computer right now playing a game that he couldn’t play before because my computer was too old.
I also changed the theme of my blog today. I just got sick of the pink and white so I knew it was time for a change. Plus I read that jazzing up your blog is good. I’m still getting things straightened out, but wanted to write a quick post anyway. Plus it’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything… I know I’m naughty, but life comes first. I’m sure everyone understands that. I plan to update more now with summer coming around.

Well today was a huge day for voting in my area. The huge issue was whether or not smoking should be aloud in public places. It’s sad to say that it WAS passed so there will no longer be smoking in bars and restaurants.
Now don’t get me wrong; I totally understand restaurants being non-smoking. Now bars on the other hand I don’t agree with one bit. I’m not saying this just because I myself am a smoker. It’s not right to take away a legal act and force bars to ban smoking. I personally think that it should have been up to the individual bar owners to determine whether or not smoking should be allowed in their establishment. I can already hear the bitching from non-smokers about smokers standing outside the bar lighting up.
I don’t know how many of you out there agree with me on this, but it’s just not right. It’s really going to hurt the establishments in the city. It’s also going to raise the amount of drunk drivings in the area. There are a couple bars that are located just out of the city and I can guarantee that people will drive out there so that they can smoke and then bitch when they picked up for drunk driving.
Another thing that I just don’t understand is how people can vote YES to this smoking ban yet when you put them in a bar with a drink in their hand, they have a cigarette in the other hand. It just pisses me off. I had a guy tell me tonight that he voted for the ban, but then went and lit up. How the hell does that make any sense?
It’s just frustrating that rights are being taken away…

Well when I woke up today I was going to make some graphics. Turns out that my 30 day trial for PSP has expired. That really blows with Christmas right around the corner. I really want to buy the software, but I know that I shouldn’t right now. I don’t know what to do! I was looking around online for the cheapest price and I still haven’t found something that catches my eye. If anyone knows of a cheap place for software, let me know! I’m more interested in Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 than Adobe because of the price.
I’m so not ready to go to work tomorrow. The job search is looking gloomy. Of course it’s that time of year and all employers have their seasonal help. I understand that, but I’m getting desperate so that I can get out of the hell hole. 
Well it’s pretty close to bed time. My boyfriend has to be at work by 5:30am and it wouldn’t hurt me to go to work early so that I get out early. Oh yeah, I make my own hours there because I’m salary. It’s ok, but it’s not my cup of tea. As long as I put in 8 hrs a day I’m set. Feel free to add me on myspace here. Goodnight!
